How does Marx’s conception of labor contrast to Plato’s? What is labor for Plato and Marx? Do you think that the Marxian claim that a “new enrichment of human nature” will occur in a Marxist society? How do all of the above compare to Plato’s Republic? Be careful – do not misrepresent Plato’s Republic. Is there the possibility of an enrichment of human nature in either republic?
